Any thoughts on turbo-in the prelude?

think turbo will go ok on the prelude?

ey bro, is urz a vtec... u kan buy kits for em, but they recomend if u turbo a fwd, u should also get wider wheeles, if urs are stock! kause they have soo much go! a friend of mine has a 1998 integra vti-r, and he has a kit for his, hasnt put it on yet, but when its on! it should be sumthin shocking

whats the power output expected to be after turbo?

will the increased power damage the engine or any components

thats the problem with turboing a vtec, i hed u have to be very careful, and after get it re mapped, kause the system goes mental... im not sure on the exact figures, ill sus it out for ya.. i saw one at autosalon a few years back, it had a t28, but the guy put in a whole motec system to compensaite for it...

yeh, i guess there'd be a lot of traps to fall into out there with people selling kits and doing work that isn't really in your best interests if you want to keep the car for a few years

the power output b4 turbo is about 128-138kw at fly.

the turbo out put after turbo as is on any car is amazing even at low boost.

its a non vtec.. si.

motec are great systems ! personal opinion!!!>

on a stock engine you should only run really low boost pressure as MOST NA motors do not come with strenthend internals and basics like oil squirters etc. running boost on those sorts of motors would have drastic effects if constantly boosted even if it was tuned properly. best bet is to save the money..do it properly the first time, rebuild, turbo charge, have fun without having to worry about blowing the head clean off the block.
